Stoned Oven Gourmet Pizzas is selling cannabis-laced frozen pizzas in medical marijuana dispensaries around Los Angeles. Each six-inch pie contains 250 mg of ethanol-extracted THC concentrate and costs $10.

The startup was created by 24-year-old entrepreneur Henry Mark, who, earlier this year, was baking a few hundred pies a week in a small parlor; now he produces 2,000 to 3,000 a week in a commercial kitchen.

Stoned Oven’s website lists 21 local dispensaries where its pizzas are sold, and also advertises ‘personal catering.’

Stoned Oven isn’t the only business to create a buzz by combining pizza with pot.

Another LA-based company, Podey Pizza, has started selling cannabis-infused pizza sauce at marijuana dispensaries in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington State and Colorado. Each five-ounce jar contains 300mg of THC and costs $20. And Vancouver’s Mega Ill restaurant, which opened last December, sells pizzas that are drizzled with THC-infused olive oil to customers over 18 who carry a medical marijuana card.
