World Medical Cannabis Brings the Marijuana Revolution Back to the East Coast

This year’s Joys of Hemp Expo is the East Coast’s second generation cannabis convention.
In the past, medical marijuana has been known as a West Coast phenomenon—but those at World Cannabis Medicine have decided that, in light of the ongoing legalization efforts across the United States, now is the right time for a cannabis industry trade show that gets back to the movement’s East Coast roots.
Grounded in social activism and harm reduction, Joys of Hemp would like to issue a formal challenge to anyone in the New Jersey Department of Health to debate the facts about medical cannabis with any of the experts at the expo. Joys of Hemp knows that evidence on the efficacy of medical cannabis is piling up every day, and “believes that Gov. Christie’s efforts to keep a natural medicine out of the hands of the sick will one day be compared to Gov. Wallace’s efforts to hold back the tide of civil rights”.
The Joys of Hemp Expo is an event for business as well as celebration and will feature a range of activities designed to both educate and entertain, including a Cannabis Industry jobs fair, professional training and live music.
Suggestions are being taken for new forum topics. So far the schedule features discussions on activism, business owning, cultivation, legal issues, medical marijuana and new technology.
