Todd Mitchem and the founders of CannaBrand are excited to incorporate the healing and relaxation properties of cannabis into a series of cannabis-friendly yoga events in Denver, and welcomes all to indulge whether they choose to consume or not.

“With I Choose Cannabis, we hope to demystify this versatile and healing plant and open it up to veteran yogis and newcomers alike,” said Jennifer DeFalco. The goals for the campaign are simple: to change mainstream perceptions of cannabis by demonstrating cannabis users as productive and functioning individuals, including mothers, fathers, professionals, and grandparents.

In the first series titled: “I Choose Cannabis and Yoga,” invited members may choose to consume cannabis prior to practicing meditation and yoga. In addition, there will be an educational aspect to each class in which patrons will learn about the mind, body and spiritual components of yoga, and how marijuana complements these elements.

This “enlightening” series of cannabis and yoga events will be held at the indoor/outdoor cannabis co-working space Green Labs  (1250 31st St, Denver, CO 80205), complete with instructors, refreshments and exclusive giveaways.

All classes start at 6:30 P.M. The dates are as follows:

Friday, July 25, 2014: “Yoga with a Twist”
Friday, Aug 1, 2014: “Puff and Pose”
Friday, Aug 8, 2014:  “Buds with Buddha”
Friday, August 15, 2014: “Canna-Light Yoga” 

This is a private event. Guests must be 21+ to attend and may pre-order tickets for $30 at ichoosecannabis.com. Media are welcome.  Cannabis products will not be sold.
