More than 40 entries were competing for the top spot for edibles at the fifth annual High Times Cannabis Cup held in Santa Rosa, California. But Madame Munchie’s Artisanal Cannabis Macarons beat out all others and won the 2014 award for Best Medical Marijuana Edibles.

Madame Munchie, the young San Francisco based collective, presented the judges with five gourmet flavored Macarons (Hazelnut Mocha, Citrus à l’amande, Tropical Jungle, Green Gold and PB&J) that each carry 20 milligrams of THC. The meringue-based sandwich cookies wowed the High Times judges, who said that the taste, originality, packaging, and perfect dosage levels were the best they had seen in 30 years.

The Madame Munchie collective was founded to offer delicious, smoke-free edibles for medical marijuana patients in California.
